If you can't find a knowledge article with the information you need, you can suggest a new article as described below. Of course, if you need technical assistance immediately, you need not wait. Open a TechHelp ticket or contact either the Faculty/Staff Help Center or Student Computing Services.
Suggest a new article
You can suggest a new TechHelp Knowledge Base article in whatever way best suits your situation:
- If a related article is open on your screen — such as the one you're reading now — scroll to the bottom and find the box labeled Was this helpful? Select either Yes or No, then enter a comment suggesting a new article. Your feedback will go to the article owner, who can forward it to the most appropriate group if necessary.
- If search results are displayed on your screen,
- Select Services on the TechHelp menu bar.
- Select the Software & Applications tile.
- Select the TechHelp link.
- Select the Open a Ticket button and complete the form to request an article.
- If you are outside the knowledge base, you can include your suggestion in an email to one of the OTS service desks:
Still need help? Consider the Related Articles box on this page or

or add details on what you liked and what needs improvement.
