Questions about student migration from Google to Microsoft
If I send my student an email while they're being migrated, will they get it?
Yes. Student email addresses are not changing so they will continue to get your emails.
Can I continue to use Google services such as Forms, Docs, Meet, Events and Sites?
When sharing, promoting and discussing TU information, TU organizations should use Microsoft products like Outlook calendar and Microsoft Forms. If you have questions or need a recommendation, contact the OTS Help Center or your CCLT coordinator.
My office uses Google-specific workflows and relies on Google docs. How can I get help with the university transition to Microsoft?
Move your non-confidential academic files to OneDrive, and files containing confidential TU data to a Secure Share now. Sensitive university data shouldn't be stored on personal Google drives. Request a Secure Share through TechHelp. You can start using OneDrive now to share files with students as they already have access to the service.
Is multi-factor authentication required for students when logging into Microsoft 365?
