Obtain Discounted Software for Personal Use

The Maryland Education Enterprise Consortium (MEEC) provides specific software at reduced pricing for eligible faculty, staff and students at participating institutions. This software is for personal devices only. Learn how to set up an account and purchase the software.

Create an account

To obtain software, you must create an account and verify eligibility through the Towson University Software Center, powered by Kivuto Solutions, Inc. This software is for use on a personal computer; do not download and install it on a TU-owned computer.

  1. Open the Towson University Software Center in your web browser. A TU-branded webpage will display.
  2. Select the Register button in the upper right corner of the page to register for an account.
  3. Follow the prompts to create your account. It may take some time for the confirmation email to be sent to you.

Obtain software

Once your account has been registered and verified, log in as follows:

  1. Open the Towson University Software Center in your web browser.
  2. Enter the Username (typically, your TU email address) and Password you created during the registration process and select the Sign In button. The software Catalog will display.
  3. Enter a software name into the Product Search and select Enter. The software available to you will display.
  4. Select a product and select the Add to Cart button.
  5. Once you have added your items to your cart, you can check out your purchases. You will need to accept the Terms of Agreement page and follow the prompts for purchasing, including providing a method of payment.

Renew your account annually

Renew your account with the Towson University Software Center annually.

  1. Open the Towson University Software Center in your web browser.
  2. Select the Sign In link in the upper right corner.
  3. Select the Your Account/Orders link in the upper right corner.
  4. Select the Eligibility tab and then select the Renew Eligibility button.
  5. Enter your TU Email address in the box labeled Organization Issued Email Address and select Continue.
  6. Select the group you are a member of under Proof of Eligibility, and then select Submit. An email will be sent to your TU address with a link you must select to complete the process. You may have to log out and back in before seeing available software for discounted pricing.
