Web conferencing tools
Webex
Webex, Webex Meetings and your Webex Personal Meeting Room allow you to meet virtually with other people from any location. Features include messaging, file sharing and whiteboarding, and you can participate in meetings via your computer or mobile device (Android and iOS). With your TU account, you can attend meetings to which you are invited, and you can host meetings in two ways:
- by sharing the permanent URL for your personal meeting room with invitees.
- by scheduling a meeting with a unique URL and inviting others via email.

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra
Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a real-time video conferencing system that allows you to add files, share applications and use a virtual whiteboard to interact. Collaborate is available in all Blackboard courses and is enabled by default. Additional information is available on the TU website.
Zoom
Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing platform you can use for meetings, audio conferencing and webinars. Features include recording capability and live chat, and you can participate in meetings via your computer or mobile device (Android and iOS). Additional information is available on the TU website.
Lecture capture
Panopto
Panopto is a flexible, easy-to-learn instructional recording system that you can use via your computer or mobile device. It integrates with Blackboard to allow faculty to share content online with ease. Panopto also supports live streaming events, communication with participants and lecture recording during broadcasting. Additional information is available on the TU website.
Asynchronous collaboration
VoiceThread
VoiceThread is an online collaboration and discussion platform in Blackboard. You can easily comment and respond with audio, video or text; upload media (images, videos, presentations, etc.) for discussion; and create graded or ungraded assignments. The instructional uses for VoiceThread include student presentations, online discussions, foreign language assignments and more. Additional information is available on the TU website.
