Visit your WordPress site

Follow these steps to visit your site and preview how it will look for your visitors.

  1. From your Dashboard, hover over My Sites, hover over the name of your site in the drop-down menu, and then select Visit Site in the fly-out menu.

  2. Alternatively, you can hover over the name of your site and then select Visit Site in the drop-down menu.
     

Understand posts vs pages

WordPress is built around two general content types: Posts and Pages

  • Posts are typically blog entries (regularly updated articles listed in reverse-chronological order).
  • Pages are used for more static content that never changes or changes infrequently.
