Adding an Extension to a Telephone with Sufficient Buttons Available

In Call Manager: https://cucm-pub.towson.edu:8443/ccmadmin/showHome.do

  • Log into Call Manager as Admin
  • Select Device in Main Menu
  • Select Phone
  • Beside Find Phone where  
    • Select Directory Number                 
    • Select Contains                 
    • Type the 5-digit extension                   
    • Select Find
  • Select the MAC Address of the phone you want to update
  • Select the line button labeled Add a New DN
  • You will then get a 2nd screen
  • Beside Directory Number enter the 5-digit extension number you want to add (ie 42228) & click outside the box
  • Beside Route Partition select the drop down to choose All-Phones-PT & click outside the box
  • All necessary fields will populate
  • Select Save
  • Select Apply Config
