Media or File Opens in the Wrong Application

Windows solution

  1. Open Windows Explorer from the icon on the desktop or by selecting Windows Button > Programs > Accessories.
    • Note: Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer are different programs.
  2. Locate the file in the computer folder, right-click the filename, and select Open with.
  3. Select the correct application for the file.
  4. Select OK.

MacOS solution

  1. Locate the file with Finder or Spotlight.
  2. Right-click or Ctrl + click the filename and select Open With.
  3. Select the correct application to open the file.
