Create a copy of a Panopto video in another folder or move a video between folders following these steps.
Move a video from one folder to another
Move a video in Panopto to change its location — this will not create a duplicate video.
- Open https://towsonu.hosted.panopto.com in your browser.
- Sign in using your NetID and Password.
- Locate the video you wish to move.
- Hover your mouse over the video name, then click the Settings icon on the video preview.
- Select the Edit button next to the Folder option.
- Change the current folder to the Parent Course folder in the drop-down menu.
- Select Save.
Move multiple videos from one folder to another
- Open https://towsonu.hosted.panopto.com in your browser.
- Sign in using your NetID and Password.
- Locate the videos you wish to move.
- Hover your mouse over the video icon and check the box in the video preview for all videos.
- Click Move on the bar across the top.
- Choose the new folder from the drop-down menu.
- Click Move.
- Close the Move pop-up window.
Copy a video from one folder to another
Copy a video in Panopto to create a duplicate in the same folder as the original. Then, you can move the copy to another folder.
- Open https://towsonu.hosted.panopto.com in your browser.
- Sign in using your NetID and Password.
- Locate the video you want to copy.
- Hover your mouse over the video name, then click the Settings icon on the video preview.
- Select Manage on the left.
- Scroll down to the header and Copy Session.
- Edit the name in the New Session box if desired.
- Select the Copy button, then select OK or Yes when the pop-up window prompts you to verify. The copy will be created within a few minutes.
- Once the copy is available, follow the steps in the previous section to move the copy into a new folder.
