Configure Your iOS Device for tu-secure Wi-Fi

Configure your iOS device to connect to tu-secure, the wireless network that provides the most secure and stable connection and access to your H: drive and other secured resources.

Connect your iOS device to tu-secure

  1. Select Settings from the device's Home screen. 
  2. Select Wi-Fi from the Settings screen. 
  3. Verify that Wi-Fi is enabled — the slider is green. 
  4. Select tu-secure under CHOOSE A NETWORK. 
  5. Enter your NetID username and password.
  6. Select Join. If you receive an error message, select Dismiss and then select Join again. 
  7. Select Trust in the Certificate window to finish joining tu-secure. 

Troubleshooting your connection

If you are having trouble connecting to tu-secure, reset your network settings. 

  1. Select Settings from the device's Home screen. 
  2. Select General from the Settings screen. 
  3. Scroll down and select Reset.
  4. Select Reset Network Settings from the Reset window. This will reset ALL network settings from any Wi-Fi connection on your device.
  5. Once your device has reset, follow the connection steps above. It may take a few minutes to fully connect to the network after entering your credentials.

Note:  The Private Address option should be set to Off or Fixed.  You will have problems if it is set to Rotating.
