Using Akindi in Blackboard

Akindi is an online Scantron tool that allows instructors to create exams online. These tests are multiple choice or true/false and can be given in an online or in person format.

Link Akindi to Your Blackboard Course

  1. Navigate to https://blackboard.towson.edu
  2. Log in with your TU Net ID and Password
  3. Enter your Course
  4. On the left side of the course, click View Course and Institution Tools
  5. Scroll down to the bottom and select Browse all organization tools
  6. Scroll down until you find Akindi
    1. Click on the box if you would like to launch the Akindi tool, but not make it available to your students
    2. Click on the plus + icon in the bottom right corner of the Akindi box if you would like to make a link on the course content page. This link can be kept hidden from students, or made visible to students if the test will be in an online format.
