As an owner of a folder, you can copy all of the videos from one folder in Panopto to another. This will create a reference copy that links to the original version of the video. You can copy from one section of the course to another, or from an older semester to a new semester.
Prior to copying your content to another folder, you will first need to ensure that your new course has an associated Panopto Folder. If you have not already done so, make sure to Create Your Panopto Course Folder first.
Copy a Panopto Folder from One Course to Another
- Navigate to https://blackboard.towson.edu
- Log in with your TU NetID and Password
- Enter the new course where the videos are moving to
- Open the Panopto Folder
- In an Original course, select Tools on the left-hand menu, then Panopto Content
- In an Ultra course, select View Course & Institution Tools on the left-hand menu, then click on Panopto Folder Ultra Courses
- In the top right corner, select the gear icon
- On the Overview tab, scroll down to the header Course Video Copy
- Choose whether you'd like to Include Zoom videos or Include Scheduled Recordings
- Click Choose source folder
- Select the drop down arrow and locate the new course to copy the videos to
- Click Begin Folder Copy.
Please Note: A full course folder copy may take up to 24 hours to process.
