When Blackboard courses are archived, Panopto folder access is sometimes removed. Learn how to preserve Panopto access in a couple of easy steps.
Preserve creator access to Panopto folders
You need only follow this process if the Panopto folder contains videos that you plan to reuse and the corresponding Blackboard course will be archived. Once you have completed this process for a folder, you will not need to repeat it.
- Log into Blackboard and open the course.
- Select View Course & Institution Tools, then select Panopto Folder Ultra Courses.
- In a Blackboard Original course, select Tools, then Panopto Content.
- In the top right corner, select the share icon.
- Enter your username in the Add people and groups field, then select your username when it displays.
- Change the drop-down from Viewer to Creator.
- Toggle off the switch labeled Send an email to notify people.
- Select Save.
