Solve Web Browser Problems

Web browsers save (or cache) temporary files to work efficiently. Occasionally, corrupted or outdated information may cause a webpage to load incorrectly or not at all.

Firefox

  1. From the Firefox menu, click History > Clear Recent History 
  2. Select the When drop down and choose Everything.
  3. Check the Temporary cached files and pages box, then click Clear.
  4. Visit the problematic website again.
  5. Try a different web browser, e.g. Chrome or Edge.

Chrome

  1. From the Chrome settings menu (three stacked dots at the top right of the address bar), select Delete Browsing Data.
  2. Select the Time Range drop down and choose All time.
  3. Check the Cached Images and Files box, then click Clear Data.
  4. Visit the problematic website again.
  5. Try a different web browser, e.g. Firefox or Edge.

Edge

  1. From the Edge menu, click Delete browsing data section, click Choose what to clear, then Clear now.
  2. Visit the problematic website again.
  3. Try a different web browser, e.g. Firefox or Chrome.

Safari

  1. From the Safari menu, click Clear History > Clear History
  2. Visit the problematic website again.
  3. Try a different web browser, e.g. Firefox or Chrome.
