View all courses, organizations, institutions, personal events and due dates in Blackboard Calendar. Calendar is also capable of synchronization with external calendar software.
Navigate to the calendar
- Navigate to https://blackboard.towson.edu.
- Log in with your TU NetID and Password.
- Select your Calendar. This is the sixth item located on the left side navigation menu.
Add an event to the calendar
- In your Calendar, select the plus icon at the top-right corner.
- A drop-down menu will appear with options for Add Event, Edit Schedule and Add Office Hours.
- Select Add Event.
- A side menu will appear on the right side.
- After filling in the necessary information, select Save.
Add office hours to the calendar
- In your Calendar, select the plus icon at the top-right corner.
- A drop-down menu will appear with options for Add Event, Edit Schedule and Add Office Hours.
- Select Add Event.
- A side menu will appear on the right side.
- After filling in the necessary information, select Save.
- Changes synchronize with the selected course's Calendar.
Edit your calendar settings
- In your Calendar, select the gear icon at the top-right corner.
- A side menu will appear on the right side.
- Within this menu, you can edit items you wish to be displayed.
- Changes save upon edit.
Edit your course or organization schedule
Courses scheduled by the university must occur at the dates and times established by the university. Changes to a course's schedule without department permission will likely cause confusion and complications for students enrolled in the course.
- In your Calendar, select the plus icon at the top-right corner.
- A drop-down menu will appear with options for Add Event, Edit Schedule and Add Office Hours.
- Select Edit Schedule.
- A side menu will appear on the right-hand side.
- A list of courses and organizations you have an instructor or leadership role will appear.
- Select the Plus Icon located to the right of the item's name.
- After filling in the necessary information, select Save.
