Project managers are responsible for posting regular status updates about their projects in TeamDynamix.
Frequency
At a minimum, an update should be posted every two weeks, or whenever project activities warrant an update. High visibility projects may require more frequent updates. Contact the PPMO if you have questions about the frequency required for your project.
Content and Format
- Update the project Status - if the project was put on hold, or has moved to close out.
- Update the project Health - if the project health is being moved to yellow or red, explain why in the comments section.
- Update the project % Complete - this should align with the completion in the project plan.
- Post a narrative update in the Comments section including the following:
- Summary
- Significant Accomplishments
- Upcoming Activities
- Budget and Current Spend
- Issues/Concerns/Challenges

- Select Update
- In the Comments section, click on Templates
- Select Project Managers, then Status Update
- The pre-formatted sections will populate in the comments box
