Update your Online Learning Profiles

Taking the time to update your profile, including images, is crucial for fostering a personal connection when engaging with your instructor and peers online. At Towson University, you can update your image across various platforms such as Blackboard, VoiceThread, and Microsoft 365. Make it a priority to update your profile on each of these platforms to enhance your online experience.

  • Blackboard Profile- provides an opportunity to update your profile image, pronouns, and name pronunciation.
  • VoiceThread Identity- By default, when posting comments in VoiceThread, your initials serve as your VoiceThread image. Elevate your presence by uploading a personalized profile image instead. Note: First select the VoiceThread link provided by your instructor in your Blackboard course and the follow the steps outlined in the guide. 
  • Microsoft 365 Profile- update your profile image in Microsoft 365 to personalize your account and enhance your online collaborations.
