Configure your Mac computer (running MacOS 11 Big Sur or higher) to connect with tu-secure. A tu-secure connection provides the most secure and stable wireless access to the TU network and must be used to access your H: and O: drives. If you need additional assistance, please contact the Help Center at 410-704-5151. Mac OS 10.15 Catalina and previous versions are no longer supported by Apple or the university. Macs running Catalina may or may not work with tu-secure.
Connect with tu-secure
To connect to the tu-secure wireless network, complete the following steps:
- Select the Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner of your Mac desktop.
- Select tu-secure from the list of available wireless networks.
- Enter your TU NetID Username and Password when prompted.
- Select the Join button.
- If a Verify Certificate window appears, select OK.
Note: The Private Address option should be set to Off or Fixed. You will have problems if it is set to Rotating.
