Subscribe To & Manage Your TechStatus Notifications

Follow these sections for guidance on subscribing to TechStatus and making changes to your subscription.

How to Subscribe

1. Go to https://techstatus.towson.edu/ 
2. Click Subscribe on the top right. 
3. Under Email Address, enter the email address that will receive the notifications.  
4. Under Subscribed To choose the Services to be notified on.  
   • To be notified of incidents on all Services, click the arrow and choose Select ALL. 
5. Check the reCAPTCHA box. Click Subscribe. 

Subscription Management

A subscription confirmation email will be sent from Towson University TechStatus. To activate your subscription, click the Confirm Email button: 

Note: If you get the below error, too much time has lapsed since the subscription was created. Please subscribe again.

You will see the below message in the top right briefly:

1. Click the word here in the message.
2. Check your inbox for an email from noreply@statuscast.com.
3. Open it and click the Manage Subscription button. 

To Manage your Subscription

1. Click the unsubscribe link from any notification email from TechStatus. 
   Or
   Open the original confirmation email from Towson University TechStatus & click Manage Subscription. 
   
   Then
2. Once the subscription management window opens, update services to be notified under Subscribed to. 
3. Under Notification Preference, leave all email options checked 
4. Once changes are made, click Update or Unsubscribe.
