Body

Here is some information to get you started for a semester and things you would know for the end of every semester.

Beginning of Semester Responsibilities

Make course available: Make sure your courses are available to students. View this video or TechHelp Knowledge Article for steps on how to make them available.

Course Combines: Complete the course combine request form for courses.

Course Copy: View the Blackboard Help website for copying in Ultra courses.

Check Course Accessibility Score: Check your courses accessibility score and fix accessibility issues using the Ally Tool.  View this TechHelp Knowledge Article for steps on how to make your course accessible.

End of Semester Responsibilities

Submit Final Grades to Peoplesoft: At the end of every semester you will need to submit offical final grades to PeopleSoft.  Contact the Registrars office with questions and view this support document for steps on how to submit final grades.

Close Course: Closing your course will allow your students to still see the course but not interact. View this Techhelp Knowledge Article for steps to close your course.

Export your Course: Save a backup of your course materials, as this will allow you to import your materials into another course. View this Techhelp Knowledge Article to learn more.
