Recording in Zoom for TU Retirees

Summary

[Students, Faculty, Staff and Retirees] Retirees are able to record their hosted Zoom meetings to the cloud; however, these recordings are not accessible in Panopto.

Body

Retirees from Towson University with an active NetID can record their hosted Zoom meetings to the cloud. These recordings will remain accessible until they are automatically deleted after 30 days. Retired faculty members do not have access to Towson's Panopto video content management service, which means there is no way to retrieve Zoom cloud recordings once they are deleted.

For additional details on the retention of recorded Zoom video files, please refer to the linked article.
