the battery is bad |
They don’t last forever. Try a different, ideally fully-charged battery. If that fixes the problem, let Bill know (via TechHelp) that that kit needs a new spare battery. |
the media card is too slow |
If the SD media card is an older, slower (>40MB/s) model, this can strain the buffer and automatically stop recording. SMS media cards should all be up to the challenge. If the card seems damaged, check with Bill, we might have a spare at hand. |
the camera is overheating |
This can sometimes happen when shooting video in a hot environment. The trick is to keep the camera out of direct sunlight or cover it with something breathable and reflective (e.g., white cloth).
