Classroom Wireless Projection Issues

Summary

[Faculty & Staff] Some rooms are equipped with wireless projection devices (Mersive Solstice, Crestron AirMedia, AppleTV), which allow laptops and other devices to connect to the audiovisual system via WiFi.

Body

Some rooms are equipped with wireless projection systems—such as Mersive Solstice, Crestron AirMedia, or Apple TV—which allow laptops and other devices to connect to the audiovisual system via Wi-Fi.

Solution

  1. On the Crestron touch panel or push-button controller, select the appropriate input source. This may be labeled Wireless or named after the specific device (e.g., Mersive, AirMedia, or Apple TV).
  2. Connect your device to the tu-secure wireless network.
  3. Note that some devices may not be compatible; for instance, streaming to Apple TV requires Bluetooth 4.0 or later.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions, and when prompted, enter the passcode displayed on the screen.
