To use a laptop with the classroom audiovisual system, connect it to the system and select the corresponding input source on the control panel.
Try this solution
- Check Connections
- Plug your laptop securely into the system using the connections located on the podium (ex cable cubby or liberty ring).
- Use the Crestron control panel to power on the system.
- Select the correct input source
- Crestron panel: On the Source page, select Auxilary HDMI (for HDMI) or Laptop (for VGA).
- ELMO document camera: Press the Laptop button — indicated by a laptop icon or labeled Laptop.
- Handheld remote: Use the remote to cycle through available sources until your laptop appears.
- Set your display to Mirror/Duplicate
- Windows 10: Press Windows + P and select Duplicate.
- MacOS or older versions of Windows: Use the shortcut keys listed in the table below.
- Tip: Avoid "Extended" mode - Always use Mirror/Duplicate so your screen matched the display.

- If the No Show indicator displays on the control panel, push the No Show button to deselect it.
- If the above steps fail to resolve the issue, restart both the audiovisual system and the laptop.
