To use a laptop with the classroom audiovisual system, connect it to the system and select the corresponding input source on the control panel.
Try this solution
- Check the laptop connections; they should fit securely.
- Turn on the audiovisual system with the Crestron control panel.
- If the No Show indicator displays on the control panel, push the No Show button to deselect it.
- Select the correct input source with the audiovisual control system.
- On a Crestron control panel, choose Laptop (for VGA connections) or Auxiliary HDMI from the Source page.
- On an ELMO document camera, press the Laptop button — indicated by a laptop icon or labeled Laptop.
- For systems controlled via handheld remote, use the remote to switch between available sources.
- Use the keyboard to select the external display. Do not use Extended mode; always Mirror or Duplicate your screen.
- In Windows 10, press Windows + P and select Duplicate from the resulting menu.
- In macOS or older versions of Windows, use the table below to determine the correct key combination.
