When you record a Zoom meeting, the video is automatically placed in your Meeting Recordings folder in the My Folder area of Panopto. Follow these steps to move the video from that folder to the corresponding course folder.
Recording a session in Zoom using the Cloud Recording option will automatically send a copy of the recording to Panopto. If you are given the option to choose between recording to the cloud and recording to your computer, make sure to select Record to Cloud. If you select Record to Local Computer, you will need to locate and manually upload the recording to Panopto.

A Zoom recording has separate files for transcripts and chat messages. In Panopto, the transcript becomes the captions and the chat messages display in the discussion section of the video. Zoom recordings are only available in the Zoom cloud for 30 days. After the 30 day limit, the recording will only be available in Panopto.
Set the default Panopto folder for Zoom recordings

- Log in with your TU NetID and Password.
- Select your Name in the top right corner.
- Select User Settings.
- Scroll down to Zoom Recording Import Settings and select the Edit link.
