Embed Video in the Blackboard Content Stream:
- Navigate to https://blackboard.towson.edu.
- Log in with your TU NetID and Password.
- Enter the desired course and select the + (plus sign) under Course Content. A drop-down menu will display.
- Select Content Market from the drop-down menu.
- Once inside the content market, scroll down and select Panopto Video Embed. Blackboard will display a menu where you can
- Embed an existing video in the Panopto course folder
- Upload a video from your device
- Record a new video to embed
- Once you have selected the video you want to embed, a bar will appear at the bottom of the screen that reads Video Embed Options.
- Select anywhere on this bar to open the options.
- After you are satisfied, select the green Insert button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- You will now be able to see that the video has been embedded in the content stream.
Embed Video in a textbox:
- Follow steps 1-2 above
- Locate the textbox you'd like to embed the video in
- Click the + (plus sign) to the far right of the textbox options
- Select Content Market
- Once inside the content market, scroll down and select Panopto Video Embed. Blackboard will display a menu where you can
- Embed an existing video in the Panopto course folder
- Upload a video from your device
- Record a new video to embed
- Once you've selected the video you want to embed, a bar will appear at the bottom of the screen that reads Video Embed Options
- Select anywhere on this bar to open the options
- After you are satisfied, select the green Insert button in the bottom right corner of the screen
- The video should appear in the textbox.
