Edit Personal Information on Blackboard

[Faculty & Staff] Blackboard's profile page lets you manage your online persona and modify your notification settings. To do this you must use Blackboard on a supported browser, not in the mobile app.

Blackboard's profile page lets you manage your online persona and modify your notification settings. To do this, you must use Blackboard on a supported browser, not in the mobile app. 

Navigate the Profile page

1. Navigate to https://blackboard.towson.edu.
2. Log in with your NetID username and password.
3. Select your Name — the second item on the left side navigation menu.
4. Your Basic Information, Contact Information, and System Settings are auto-filled.

Edit the Profile page

1. To edit an item, select the pencil icon associated with the item. 
2. A menu will appear on the right side.
3. Enter or edit your information for that item. 
4. Select Done.

Edit your Profile picture

1. To edit your profile page, select the pencil icon associated with the profile picture. By default, the profile picture is a grey silhouette at the top of the profile page. 
2. A menu will appear on the right side.
3. Select the upload new profile picture button.
4. Your computer's file directory will open. Select a profile photo from your computer.
5. Your new profile picture will display.
