Delete a video from Panopto, Class Collaborate or Zoom.
Delete a video on Panopto from Blackboard
- Navigate to https://blackboard.towson.edu.
- Log in with your TU NetID and Password.
- Enter the desired course with the video to be deleted.
- Select Books & Tools, then Panopto Content.
- Locate the video you wish to delete.
- Under the name of the video, select the Delete button.
- Select Yes or OK on the pop-up prompt Are you sure you want to delete this session? to delete the video.
Delete a video from the Panopto website
- Navigate to https://towsonu.hosted.panopto.com.
- Log in with your TU NetID and Password.
- Enter the folder that the video is in and locate the video.
- Hover your mouse over the video name and select Delete.
- Select Yes or OK on the pop-up to verify that you want to delete the video.
Delete a Class Collaborate recording
- Navigate to https://blackboard.towson.edu.
- Sign in with your TU NetID and Password.
- Enter the course where the recording is located.
- On the left menu, select the three dots to the right of Class Collaborate.
- Select Manage All Sessions.
- Change the Filter by drop-down on the right to All Previous Sessions.
- Locate the recording.
- Select the three dots to the far right of the recording name and select Delete.
- On the Delete Recording pop-up, select Yes, Delete it.
- The recording is now deleted.
Delete a Zoom Recording
If you wish to delete a recording of a Zoom meeting, you must delete both the Zoom recording and the recording in Panopto. If the Zoom recording happened more than 30 days ago, it has already been deleted from Zoom and will only need to be deleted in Panopto.
- Navigate to https://zoom.towson.edu.
- Select Sign In.
- Sign in with your TU NetID and Password.
- On the left menu, select Recordings.
- Locate the recording you wish to delete.
- Select More next to that recording.
- Select Delete.
- On the pop-up window, select Yes.
- The recording is now deleted.
